This & That 4 is the last album in the "This & That" series. Like the rest of them, it's just a hodge-podge of genres and styles mixed together. Latinesque, Sing Your Song, Well I, and Life Seemed Permanent were written recently and the six others were written years ago. Life Se,,ed Permanent was written as a result of a contest with the members of the "Toney Senator Song Club. All members could provide an idea for a song for me to write. Once the song requests came in . . . the group voted on the best response. It was a real story about someone dying when it was thought that life would could continue for much longer.
